This product does exactly what is intended to do. When I first opened my package I noticed that the components are bigger than portrayed in the pictures. Installation was not easy but I've done electronic installations before so it wasn't that big of a deal. It works fine except for the passenger side which for some reason the motor is slower than the driver side. My only concerned was powering the motors. I tried the ignition powered circuit from my radio as someone here on Amazon stated but it fried my fuse. Then I tried connecting it directly to the battery and it drained it over night. What I've done to fix the problem is to connect it back to the ignition powered circuit of my radio and I don't run the two motors simultaneously and it works just fine. And if I ever do run the motors together by mistake, I'm better off replacing a burned fuse than asking someone to help me jump start my truck. I installed these in my Chevy S1o. it took me about an hour and a half. This is very easy to install you don't really need the instructions if you know what your doing. Honestly the instructions will only help you 10% of the way, but the other 90% of it is garbage. I would of rated it a 5 start item if it had better instructions but the product works well. Oh and a reminder use a relay on this product i used a switch to control them myself. But if you leave them plugged in to a 12V constant it will run your batter down. One more thing make sure you bolt it down right, if not it will come out of place! well good luck to all of you who want to install this product.

I installed this kit on a 1998 Ford cargo van in a little under 3 hours. I have had the dash and door panels off before, so I knew what I was getting into. I looked at the "instructions" for a few minutes and decided they were mostly useless, except they show you that you are not supposed to twist or kink the cables from the motor to the window crank shaft. There wasn't any mention of the wiring in the instructions at all. I learned more from examining the actual parts than I did from the instructions. If you are mechanically inclined and are comfortable with automotive wiring, this should not be too much of a chore. Honestly, I found trying to get the caps that cover the hole where the window crank used to be to fit correctly was the worst part of the job. Installing the kit itself takes only basic tools.
