Remote Arm/Disarm
The included 4-Button remotes allow you to lock/unlock the vehicle, disarm or activate the alarm (panic mode) within reception range. A "hopping code" means the frequency can't be easily intercepted and duplicated.

Convenience Features
In a crowded parking lot? Easily find your car by activating the car finder, which produces one long sound followed by 30 seconds of flashing vehicle lights.

The DX370 also features power trunk release and vehicle lock/unlock.

Advanced Electronic Shock Sensor
Shock sensors emit a warning or alarm when your vehicle is hit or moved. The DX370 features a multi-stage sensor that emits chirps for lighter touches and a full-blown alarm/horn honking for heavier impacts

Includes two four-button remotes. Click to enlarge.

Anti Car-Jacking Protection
The DX370 offers three ways to help in the event of an attempt to hijack the vehicle: remote button control, triggered by the door opening, or by the ignition switch. The mode is disabled via the remote, and if not disabled, activates an alarm of increasing intensity and eventually disables the engine.

High Frequency Transmitter/Receiver
High Frequency systems avoid interference from other radio devices and offer increased range.

One-Year Warranty
The DX370 is covered for a year after purchase.

Comment: I am a trained electronic technician and the documentation is poor and leaves many questions unanswered. No web site to get help.

Summary: XO Vision DX370 Universal Car Alarm 2010-03-03
Comment: I purchased a car on January 4, 2010 and it was a 1993 Acura Integra RS and from the Acura models, the RS is the most basic so it's power nothing! I'm actually very lucky that it even has ice cold blowing a/c and a/c that I don't have to keep re-charging. So being a college student I'm always up and around especially constantly driving. It sucked already having a Clifford alarm but the alarm did nothing but make the sound with the press of the unlock/lock button and the blue light in the car would blink. There are so many car alarm brands out there but I just wanted to buy a pretty basic one that'll actually lock/unlock the doors with just the press of a button. So as I was looking all over craigslist and ebay, I noticed they were about $75.00+. I remember some people telling me that Amazon sells things for a pretty cheap price and to my surprise, the same item being sold on ebay for $75.00 was being sold here on Amazon but for only $30.00. But before I bought it, I called my mechanics friend 'cause he's been working at an actual store doing car alarms and audio for I don't know how many years but a very long time. I gave him the model of the car alarm and there were specs of the car alarm but the pictures on Amazon and google were just too small! Anyways, I purchased it and he took care of it 2 days after receiving the alarm system.

Then he observed my car and when he noticed the Clifford alarm system that was already installed on there, he told me I can still use it 'cause at least it's a name brand and all he needed to do was add a couple of things and he made me happy 'cause he did what I asked. So now, with the press of a few buttons, my car actually locks/unlocks and the trunk opens up with another button.

Since I didn't need it anymore, I gave it to my friend who has a 2005 Honda Civic DX but out of strong curiousity, it didn't have power door lock/unlock so we had my mechanics friend install it on there. After waiting for about 6 hours tops, he called us back and told us that the alarm system doesn't even work properly. With the press of a button it'll lock the doors but the siren would sound after. There were many malfunctions that we experienced with the alarm 'cause we decided to drive to where he was to actually see it for ourselves. No matter how much he tried to re-wire things, it just wouldn't work out the way we expected it to.

It would alarm but it would have to take a few times to press the button to turn of the sound and unlock the car. Not only that, he informed us that the package isn't even complete. In order for it to be complete, it would come with these long objects to actually lock/unlock the car doors. The doors will not just lock/unlock even though the alarm is installed.

Anyways, with all that said, I apologize it's such a long story but I wanted to give a complete review of my experience with it unlike other reviews that are only 2-3 sentences long. I'm not gonna say "You get what you pay for" 'cause sometimes it may be true and sometimes not. Sometimes I buy something that someone says they hate 'cause it doesn't work the way it should but hey, maybe they just got a defective one. Aside from my experience with it, I'm not putting this item down but of course I definitely won't be buying something at least this cheap anymore. I'm just glad that it wasn't put on my car 'cause it's a 1993 rather on hers 'cause it's a 2005 'cause otherwise people might think it's probably 'cause the car is messed up and not well taken care off. I actually got very lucky 'cause mine has only 80k original miles and it was very well taken care of.

Summary: Exactly what I wanted. 2010-02-24
Comment: I installed this on my 1962 Chevrolet C10 and it was a snap. It does what it says and does it very well! The motion sensor is great because you can adjust how sensitive it is for each function. The LED for inside the cab looks cool while its gives notice that this baby is off limits. The remote or key fob looks classy in chrome and black and works well from even farther distances i.e. walking away from your truck or car and arming. I would surely promote this to friends and family.

Summary: Amazing 2010-02-19
Comment: Worked like a dream. I installed it in a 93 jeep wrangler hard top. All wires are color coded and labeled correctly. All features are clearly stated and work perfectly. The only thing I can not account for is the trunk release. I do not have a trunk. The shock sensor is flawless, the sensitivity is kind of too much on max, but turning it down made it not go off with every gust of wind. It worked great with my actuators I installed and the brains fit perfectly in the spot behind the glove box, and the alarm is loud enough to hear 2 blocks away. Installation did require buying more wire. All of the door sensors are surprisingly very good quality. The remote has great range as well. I am very pleased. For the price it is more than I bargained for, I feel like I am cheating the seller.

Summary: DX370 Auto Alarm System 2010-01-17
Comment: For the price the DX370 auto alarm has a lot of features that make it a desireable purchase.. It has all the wiring and componants you'd expect. The wiring diagram is precise and covers every connection clearly. However the instruction manual lost somethings in the translation. The anti-carjacking feature has three modes and mine went uninstalled because I couldn't understand the message it was conveying.. I would recommend this unit for those that have installed alarms before. Just don't read the deescription of how it functions.
