This is simply the best product made for a BASIC remote start application. There are products with more features but across the board this brands quality is second to none period. I have sold directed products for nearly 15 years and it is a very rare occasion that a unit is bad out of the box. 99% of the time failure of this product comes down to INSTALLER ERROR not a bad unit. Every year more and more cars can not have a remote start installed in them. Thank the Car manufacturer for that. This product is intended for PROFESSIONAL install I strongly recommend that or you will end up frustrated and giving a great product a bad review.

I bought this product on E-Bay for $40. I already had another Valet brand keyless entry system installed in my Ford but wanted the remote start after seeing a friend with one installed. I like the idea of being able to start your car ahead of time to let it warm up (in the winter) and letting the heat clear up the windows or get the A/C going ahead of time (in the summer). I had the first system "professionally installed" at Circuit City before they all went out of business and was not too impressed- they neglected to do a lot of things such as put the blinking light on the dash and left me without the valet button and others. They also took forever to do the job. I decided to do the install myself as a challenge because I was tired of the "professionals" always saying to leave it to them because us common folk could not do it.

I highly recommend this product! I installed it in my '91 Dodge Stealth flawlessly. It has excellent remote range, and the remote start works perfectly. It also has some nice features like a turbo timer to allow the turbo's to cool properly before engine shutdown. Another hidden feature is that the doors can automatically lock/unlock when you drive and park. You can also leave the car running and lock it to run into the store real quick on a cold day. The unit has built in relays which make things much easier. Of course the keyless entry is a nice feature. I have professional experience with automotive wiring, so the install went very smoothly, but I highly recommend professional installation if you are not experienced.
