Driving on our roads and highways today have a varied amount of risks in today's society. Others pull out in front of us, cut us off, walk out in front of us, or just display acts of road rage. There is no reason to not be ahead of the game and have a quality dash cam protecting us from these perils. I emphasize the work Quality, as there are many low end products at prices almost too good to be real. Well, you get what you pay for as many have learned from experience. This unit does not record in segments like so many cheap and even more expensive dash cams do. When those cameras are saving a segment they are NOT recording. Some take as long as 4-6 seconds. We all know a lot can happen in 6 seconds. Why have a dash cam if you are gambling it will be recording when you need it? Buy one that does not record in segments and requires software to view the raw video on a PC No matter where you buy one from. Our camera uses embedded Linux and no reset button is needed, like those less expensive cameras. Will you be able to reset fast enough during an event you need?
