Note, the Amazon picture is slightly misleading, the lettering is white, not light blue as it looks in the picture.

This club is a great buy for the money. Don't be tempted to spend more on higher models. They offer about the same amount of protection but this model is nearly half the cost. Also, the The Club LX model locks on your steering wheel automatically when you slide it on. Some may view this as a convenient feature, however I view it as not as good because you don't have the option of not locking it if you don't want to lock it.

Sometimes I like to just place it on the steering wheel and people will think it's locked but really it's not. If I am in a bad area or will be away from the car for a longer period of time, I will lock it but at least with this Club I have that option.

This club has a neat look to it (all black with white lettering).

I purchased this basic club because I want some extra security. All of my cars already have alarm systems, but I would like to have something more to show that my cars are a little more difficult to steal than most other cars on the streets. "The Club" gives me that peace of mind. "The Club" is a well known brand for wheel lock, I have a few of them already. This time I chose the basic club out of other clubs because I want a small and light weight, but durable one. The basic club provides me all of the above plus it's dark blue. The basic club looks exactly like the original, but only thinner. I don't think that really make a difference from a car theif's point of view. It's either you have or don't have a club on the wheel. Good product and great price from amazon, $29.99 + free shipping, you can't find a deal better than that.

Good for what it is, a very basic, low-level security device (I'm not going to list the ways to defeat it). I use it on my lower-value cars that are less likely to attract attention from a well-prepared, experienced auto thief.

I recommend that you place it on the steering wheel with its keyway facing towards the dashboard, away from you.

Every couple of years, I give the locks a shot of powdered graphite.
