Bought this harness to reduce the work involved with installing an Alert Remote R350 Starter. The advertising says, essentially, it reduces the work required for installation by up to 80 percent, or something like that. Well, maybe for some. But, on my Ford F-250 pickem-up, I would say, maybe 10 percent. To be honest, I'm not sure it was worth the $16-$17 it cost me. But, this was my first install, and that may have had something to do with it. It may be a little different on other vehicles.

The concept is great, but when I connected the large connectors into the 98 Dodge Dakota vehicle's harness there wasn't enough room to put the covers on the bottom of the steering wheel. I did however, use some of the wires and the smaller connectors. I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong, but I didn't see anyway for those connectors to all fit.
