This is the 3rd 488T I've had to buy.
When it works, it works, but three replacement remotes at these prices has got tiring.
Either my Google-Fu is weak, or there is no alternate remote to be found.
A warning for 871XP model owners with remote start:
The packaging instructions that came with my remote, and likely so will yours, would tell you channel 12 or 14 is your channel for this remote.
I have learned from the two prior replacement remote programmings, and because I've kept the 1st replacements' packaging, that the proper channel for this remote, and the 871XP alarm w/remote start, is channel One (1)

Little tricky to program, but I phone the tech support and ten miuntes later I was up and running. The price was less than others and it was shipped quickly.
