I wanted something cheap but does this trick and this unit hit the spot. I installed it in my daily commuter car, 96 Honda Accord, and it works like a champ. I routed the antenna towards the back away from the dash (like it suggested) and up the center beam by the seat belt(between the front and rear door) to the roof liner and it has amazing range.
Only had it installed for about a month now but LOVE IT! Before I purchased I saw a few good reviews on the product so decided I couldn't go wrong for the price. Now I have keyless entry and remote start for $50 and about 4 hours of install time.
It does take a little studying on the instructions along with your vehicle wiring diagram but that's going to be the case with anything you install in your vehicle like this.
Will post back if it craps out and changes my mind! good luck

This is a very affordable device, but if u have a chip in the key of your vehicle. U WILL NEED A SECOND KEY WITH THE SAME PROGRAMING, as well as A MODUAL (bypass box), where the second key will go on to.
Beyond that, product does exactly what it suppose to do.

I have installed this Remote Starter in SUBARU Legacy B4.
Remote starter is working fine but working from MAXIMUM 10 meter.
From specification working range must be 1000 inch (25 meter).
