Had the same experience with my replacement remote. Went to the dealer and they wanted $120 and gave me the old song and dance about how hard and time consuming it is to program. Also, I would have to make an appointment for their tech to program it. Walked out did my research and kept coming back to this remote. It was cheap enough so why not. Was delivered less than 3 days. The only set back was the directions that come with it does not include programming for remote start. A problem easily solved with a pdf download from the almighty google. Program time less that 3 minutes. Saved about $90. Going to buy another one as a back-up.

This remote works great. It was easy to program to our existing remote start. (make sure you have a valet switch though!) It also works really far away. Very happy.
