Received the item in a USPS shipping bag that was in good condition. Opened it up to see the item wrapped in bubble wrap all the way around. The bag that the scan tool was in looked as if it were about 10 years old and had been drug through dirt/sand. Opened the bag and took out the scanner and cable, which looked to be in good condition. Grabbed the software CD and pulled it out of it's case. The CD was broken in half and it looked as if it were scraped on a bunch of rocks. The CD is also a burnable mini disc. Scan tool does not work, power on, or sync with my computer using Conzult and EcuTalk 1.3.5 software. As to my understanding, this should work with no other additional software. So as far as I'm concered, this item is DoA.

does not work with PCI to USB converter, so keep that in mind when you buy this item. Other than that is ok. Works fine.
