I needed a remote with a latched output so that my engine coolant pre-heater (Webasto) could be turned on before leaving, to both warm up the engine, AND the Waste Veg Oil system. This allows quick switch over from diesel to WVO thereby maximizing system efficiency. The Webasto optional timer module is so useless I didn't even install one as it only allows three events to be entered, so having the unit come on the same time each morning, for example - not possible!
Bulldog to the rescue! Just press one of the latched remote activation buttons (there are two latched and two momentary outputs), and the heater operates until tapping the button once more! The other three buttons are available for whatever you desire: in my case: lock, unlock, and starter disable!
The Webasto TSL17 is an outstanding heater! The Bulldog RA10 allows it to be operated as desired!
