I thought I would install this myself, however there are quite a few wires to connect and you could mess up the car computer. So I had mine professionally installed along with the Idatalink bypass in my 2000 impala. It starts easily, unlocks the doors quickly and all from a very good range. I was testing it driving my wife's truck home and I started my car from about 500' and that was with a business and a couple houses between us and my car. If you have heated seats or mirrors this can be set to start those also.

I have purchased this product for over 3 months. Extremely satisfied with it's range and features offered as compared to it's price. I could start my vehicle from my office to car parking lot with approximate distance around 3000ft. I get the confirmation in about 5 sec after I push the key to start. Installation was a bit expensive cost $250 (fully installed). However, once installed you will be satisfied.

Although my existing car security system works fine along with Autopage start and security system. I recommend using only AutoPage starter and security to avoid triggering theft alarm. I personally found that once the car is locked with Autopage and unlocked through existing security system (came pre-installed with car) and the car starts.... Autopage theft alarm will sound and possibly because the alarm thinks someone opened the car without unlocking through Autopage Security System. Therefore, I suggest using only Autopage security key fob.

Took a shot because of the other positive feedback here and elsewhere, and no regrets! Picked the window module (you'll need if you want to use remote window roll up/down) up off of Ebay and that works great too. Had it professionally installed for $180; probably run between $150-$300 depending on where you go and what options you want. Remote start works well. The new horn is nice and loud. Distance for remote to work is great! Easily goes 1/3 mile. It is similar in quality to products that cost $400+.
