I was not able to use this product to install my compatible remote start/alarm system. The unit requires firmware version CH5 for my vehicle...the one I got had CH4 installed. Having anticipated this, I also had in hand the USB programmer cable. The firmware is only available on the idatalink website. They refused to give me access because I am not a licensed dealer/installer. The guy I talked to is a tech support rep for a company that will only give support to licensed installers--this makes no sense at all (licensed installers don't call tech support because they install this stuff for a living.)

This thing does it all. Works beautifully and eliminates alot of wiring, cutting down on installation time. Best bypass I have ever used!
