Disassembly and replacement of touch pad took less than 90 seconds and the transmitter (fob) worked good as new. $40 cheaper than a new transmitter.
Exactly what I needed for MUCH less $$$$,

My trunk button would work and sometimes the lock button, but I could not unlock my doors or use the remote start. Being a woman, I really wanted the unlock to work for safety reasons. I thought I was looking at paying $50+ for a new remote. Someone took a look at it and said it might just be the buttons that were worn. I immediately went to Amazon to see if they had it. OF COURSE THEY DID! THEY HAVE IT ALL!!
I got it just a few days later and it work BETTER than brand new!!

This item is what i really needed the original pad was worn out so it wasn't making contact so it was aggravating to get into the car or lock the doors I'm so glade I came across this item
