This review is from: 2004 04 Jeep Liberty Chrysler Keyless Entry Remote - 4 Button
I've got a 2004 Jeep Liberty, and the "unlock" button one remotes had mysteriously disappeared some time ago. Got this remote yesterday, read the directions (twice) this morning, then fired her up. My first try was not successful, so I tried again following the directions exactly as described. VIOLA ! My new remote works, and I'm a happy camper. Took about five minutes, start to finish.
One thing that confused me, initially, was the lack of any chimes coming from the vehicle to let me know I had entered "programming mode" as I held down the unlock button. I just assumed nothing was happening. On my second try it took about six seconds, then I heard a chime, and it was off to the races. Everything else was easy.
Kudos on an easy fix for all of us with non-working remotes ! If I can do this, YOU can do it, too.
PERFECT!,

I received this item a week before it was expected to come and I couldn't be happier! It even came with instructions on how to program it to my car!
Not easy to program, although it's the original!,

I bought this original keyless entry remote for my 2006 Sebring convertible as a second and it looks exactly like my original, along with the company stamp on the back. But when I tried to program it,it works, but then my original doesn't work anymore. It just goes from one to the other. In other words, when I program the one I purchased, the original gets de-programmed and visa versa. I can't get them both to work at the same time. I googled 4 different methods of programming and it's the same with all methods. I had a few people try it with the same results. This keyless entry is supposed to be for a few different years, not just 2006.
