The remote sent by Keyless-Remotes.com was used but without any wear I would have noticed. The remote doesn't work with your car till you perform a "training" procedure with your specific car, and you can look up the procedure for your car on the Keyless-Remotes.com web site.
The programming procedure for my car turned out (at least to me) to be weird but simple to do successfully, consisting of steps like inserting and removing my ignition key multiple times, followed by closing and opening the driver's door multiple times, followed by other similarly odd steps. Apparently such programming by the car owner is possible on many, but not all, car models. So grope about some on the web for replacement keyless remote information for your particular car before setting down this path.
The delivery by Keyless-Remotes.com was very prompt, and I'm quite happy with my purchase. Also relieved that a replacement remote was available this easily.

This item looked like new. Great price and very simple to program with the written instructions from their web site. I had called the local toyota dealer and they wanted $154 for the fob and $70 to program it. I paid $30 and change for this and it worked like a champ. I read through the instructions and then my daughter read them to me as I performed the operations in the car. We were done in less than 3 minutes.
