This review is from: 2002-2004 Nissan Xterra Keyless ess Entry Remote Fob Clicker With Free Do-It-Yourself Programming+ Free eKeylessRemotes Guide The remote came with directions and was fairly easy to set up. However, its range is about two feet; you have to be at the car to make it work. The Nissan remotes that came with the car had a range of about 30 feet, so it's disconcerting that I can no longer unlock the car as I'm walking up to it.
Update: a few months later, this remote no longer opens the car at all, even when you're right next to it. Don't waste your money -- as much as it pains me to say it, you should buy your remote from the dealer so it'll work. |
