This listing is for a high security chip key. Most people know their vehicle's high-tech keys are Insanely expensive at the dealers these days. This key contains a tiny electronic chip called a transponder in the head of the key. Each transponder has its own unique "code". When the key is inserted into the ignition, the transponder is energized and transmits its unique code to the car's receiver in the dash.
