I was wondering how this would work out without going to a Ford dealership to have it done but the website assured me that I could program it. It was almost exactly like the one that came with our truck and as it turned out the instructions were easy to follow and it was very easy to program. I was so pleasantly surprised and now we have another fob which is what we needed without having to pay $30 more at the Ford dealership and wait for 45 min to an hour to have it done.

THE BUTTONS HAD COME OFF OUR OLD KEYLESS UNIT SO INSTEAD OFF GOING TO A FORD DEALERSHIP AND PAYING TOP DOLLAR FOR ONE I DECIDED TO TRY THIS ONE. WELL PLEASED, EASY TO PROGRAM AND WORKS PERFECT.CAN'T TELL ANY DIFFERENCE FROM THE ORIGINAL.FOR THE PRICE SHOULD HAVE ORDERED AN EXTRA ONE FOR LATER

This is very easy to set up (as can be seen on youtube).
Just stick your car key in the ignition and cycle it on & off 8x's(cycling is taking you car from "off" to standby which is when your lights & the radio just comes on), while holding the the lock button on the remote.
You should hear your car door locks click twice. At which time you will click the lock button on anyother keyless remotes you may have.
Again youtube is a GREAT source to see how this is done.
